Subordinate Courts In Rajasthan To Resume Regular Functioning From Oct 19

The Rajasthan High Court has issued a circular directing all the Subordinate Courts/ Special Courts/ Tribunals in the state shall start/ continue regular functioning with Advocates, Staff members and Litigants from October 19, 2020.

This circular is not applicable to the courts of Jaipur Metropolitan-I, Jaipur Metropolitan-Il and Bikaner Judgeships situated at District Headquarters.

The court proceedings may also be conducted through video conferencing or tele-conferencing.

A set of directions are issued for regular functioning of Courts regarding sanitation, social distancing and wearing of masks. Wearing of coat would be optional till further orders. Entry of law interns in the court premises would be strictly prohibited.

All the gates for entry of Learned Advocates, Staff members and Litigants for entering into the premises be equipped with requisite thermal scanners’ The medical staff will permit the persons after proper screening as per the SOP issued by Central and State Government.
